Emerson Tv Standby Mode

I have an emerson television that is stuck on standby mode.

My panasonic viera plasma tv won t turn on. I have tried unplugging it for extended periods of time and when i plug it back in it still does the same. Freeze the sound output will not be paused. No sound comes out either.
